131-piece thread repair kit.

Each kit contains the materials needed to repair damaged threads in engines and other vehicle components, and more: thread inserts, drills, taps, manual installation spindles and breakers.

The kit can be used to repair threads of sizes M5 / M6 / M8 / M10 / M12.

Drills and taps are made from HSS high-speed steel.
Robust stainless steel spiral inserts provide good internal threads resistant to temperature variations and corrosion.

Instructions for use:

  • Use a drill to make a hole
  • Use a one-step tap to machine the thread into the hole
  • Insert the spiral insert using the setting pin
  • Use the breaker to break off the protruding end of the insert

The repaired thread is ready to use.

Kit contents:

  • 5 taps (1 pass): M5 x 0.8, M6 x 1.0, M8 x 1.25, M10 x 1.5, M12 x 1.75
  • 5 HSS drills: 5.1 - 6.3 - 8.3 - 10.3 - 12.5 mm
  • 5 drive breakers: 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 mm
  • 5 setting tools / pins for threaded inserts
  • 1 Allen key
  • 25 spiral inserts M5 x 0.8 x 5 mm
  • 25 spiral inserts M6 x 1.0 x 6 mm
  • 25 spiral inserts M8 x 1.25 x 8 mm
  • 25 spiral inserts M10 x 1.5 x 11 mm
  • 10 spiral inserts M12 x 1.75 x 13 mm
